Claire Pasternack Goldsmith ’01

Claire is an education consultant and strategic advisor to schools and non-profits. She previously served as the executive director of the Malone Schools Online Network, a consortium of independent schools offering high-level electives for talented juniors and seniors in real-time, virtual seminars. Claire also taught English and French and coached debate at the Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles and served in the administration of the Stanford Online High School. Her writing has appeared in publications such as Chalkbeat and The Wall Street Journal, and she shares expertise on artificial intelligence through multiple outlets nationally.

Claire has been a Winsor Corporator since 2013. In her work with the Winsor Board of Trustees, Claire sits on the Executive Committee, the Advancement Committee, and co-chairs the Equity Committee. Claire is also Chair of the Enrollment Management Association, a non-profit membership association of admissions professionals, and Vice-President of Los Angeles’s Wilshire Boulevard Temple, where she chairs their school governance committee.

Claire graduated from Harvard College with a degree in history and literature and from the Stanford Graduate School of Education with a master’s degree in policy, organization, and leadership studies. Claire and her husband Brian have two children.
