David E. Goel P'23

David Goel is co-founder and managing general partner of Matrix Capital Management. Before forming Matrix in 1999, David was a member and technology research analyst at Tiger Management. Previously, he was an associate at General Atlantic Partners and a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley. He earned his bachelor’s in government from Harvard University and graduated magna cum laude. David is on the board of directors of Adaptive Biotechnologies, nFerence, AI, Qrativ Pharmaceuticals, and Zeno Pharmaceuticals as well as a trustee of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Currently vice-chair of the Winsor Board of Trustees Finance Committee, of which he has been a member since 2015, he is also the assistant treasurer of the Winsor Board of Trustees Executive Committee. He and his wife Stacey have two children, one of whom is a Winsor alumna.
