Student Clubs

Extracurricular Activity

Student clubs offer opportunities to explore interests, develop leadership skills, and foster a sense of community. They provide a platform for students to engage in activities outside the classroom, allowing them to pursue passions in areas such as arts, sciences, sports, social issues, and more. Moreover, they can enhance academic performance by encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking. By joining clubs, students also form meaningful connections with like-minded peers, contributing to a well-rounded and fulfilling school experience.

Building the Future

Our robotics club encourages students to explore their interests in the multifaceted nature of STEM, focusing on building, coding, and business.

Lower School Clubs

In the Lower School, a clubs block is built right into the schedule, enabling all Lower School students to choose one club per semester. Every club has a faculty advisor, and Class IV students take on leadership roles in their club. Options change from year to year, and include hobbies, games, sports, and other areas of interest.

Some recent Lower School clubs include Architecture and Design Club, Chess Club, Crafting for a Change, Flag Football Club, Library Club, Lower School Council, Model United Nations, Planet Protectors, Puzzle Club, Quiz Bowl, and Soccer Club.

Upper School Clubs

In the Upper School, clubs are entirely student-run and meet during lunch and at other times throughout the school week. Students can participate in multiple clubs as their schedule allows. The 2023–24 school year featured more than 50 clubs for Upper School students to choose from, with focuses on areas of interest including social change, finance, arts, languages, school spirit, volunteering, science, and more.

Some recent Upper School clubs include Allegro, Amnesty, Banner, Chess Club, Conserve Our World (COW), Ethics, Greater Boston Food Bank, Mock Trial, Robotics, TEDxWinsor, and Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship.
