Lori Whelan co-founded Silversmith Capital Partners, a Boston-based growth equity firm, and she serves as the firm’s managing partner and COO. Lori serves on the boards of trustees of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Community Pediatrics, and the Winsor Corporation. Additionally, she is treasurer of the Winsor Board of Trustees Executive Committee, chair of the Winsor Board of Trustees Finance Committee, and sits on the Winsor Board of Trustees Facilities Committee. Lori earned her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and her bachelor’s in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Lori and her husband have two daughters, a Winsor student and a Winsor alumna.
