Marion Russell ’91, P’22, ’25

Dr. Marion Pantazelos Russell is a psychiatrist in private practice where she focuses on college mental health and the challenges faced by emerging young adults. She served for ten years as the supervising psychiatrist at Wellesley College. She is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a member of the College Mental Health Caucus, and a member of the American College Health Association. After graduating from Winsor, Marion earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont followed by a master’s degree in medical science and a medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Marion has remained an active alumna through her many Winsor roles including serving on the Young Alumnae committee, the Winsor Alumnae Board and as a member of Corporation since 2014. A dedicated supporter of Winsor’s annual giving, she has served as giving coordinator for her alumnae class for many years, as well as a parent giving coordinator and as a co-chair of the class VIII giving committee. In her role on the Winsor Board of Trustees, Marion chairs the Committee on Trustees and sits on the Advancement Committee. She and her husband Mark live in West Newton with their three children, including Winsor daughters Sophia ’22 and Catherine ’25.
